Liberate

I did it! I set free, released, let go, let out, set loose, emancipated, liberated, five photo postcards I had created. This was my first year to participate in Kat Sloma's postcard swap. I sent in five postcards I had created and in return received six beautiful postcards over the course of a couple of weeks. These postcards represent little pieces of the beauty and creativity that each participant holds inside them. What a fabulous thing to share.
This year (my first) 1254 pieces of art were liberated by 209 participating artists in 10 different countries.
Now that I have opened up and participated I am looking forward and already planning on my contribution for next year. You see, to me it is all about growth and acceptance.  I can do this, I can share what I do with others and be proud!.
Below are the beautiful cards I received from the swap.

Thank you Kat Sloma for helping me stretch, accept and believe!

Wow, iPad artistry!! This is Troubled Sky by Mary Kirby. She uses different apps to draw digitally. This beautiful drawing was done on SketchClub.

Alison Turner made this mixed media piece of the famous Las Vegas sign. She used acrylics, tissue paper, markers and nail polish!

Michele Matucheski of Sweet Leaf Productions reminds us "You don't take a photograph; You make it." Ansel Adams.

These are pen and ink drawings by Will Conway for the novel Fire In The Heart by Will Conway with Mike Scarpone.

This beautiful image is Kat's thank you card for participating. Thank you Kat for the opportunity!

I have been a fan of Carol Hart for some time. This beauty was taken using a Nikon D600 and Lensbaby Soft Optic. Carol is not only a fabulous photographer but a talented and dedicated gardener. I was thrilled that I received this piece of her art!
